Hair Care Tips
Caring for raw hair is simple, but consistency matters. Follow these essentials to maintain softness, movement and long-lasting bundles.
Gentle Cleansing
Wash with a sulfate-free shampoo to cleanse the hair without stripping it. When there is product build-up, use a clarifying or detox shampoo before going back to your regular routine.
Deep Conditioning
For curly bundles, apply a moisturising or deep conditioner weekly to keep the hair hydrated and manageable. This helps reduce tangling, dryness and unnecessary breakage.
Minimal Heat Styling
Limit straighteners, wands and blow dryers where possible and allow the hair to air-dry. When you do use heat, always apply a professional heat protectant first to minimise damage.
Gentle Detangling
Use a brush suitable for extensions and detangle gently, starting from the ends and working your way up. This prevents unnecessary tension, shedding and breakage.
Storage
When your bundles are not in use, store them in the satin bag provided with your order. This reduces friction, protects the cuticles and helps the hair maintain its quality between installs.
Regular Trims
Light trims help keep your bundles looking fresh and healthy. Removing split or rough ends caused by styling and manipulation helps the hair hold its shape and blend more seamlessly with your natural hair.
Important
Raw hair should be treated and maintained like your own natural hair to preserve its quality.
If you choose to bleach or colour your bundles, the hair will require extra moisture, protein balance and heat protection compared to when it’s in its natural state.
